Who we are
OmniVinci is a film studio run by Debabrata Bairagy. It makes short 3D films that explain complex software. This website is getomnivinci.com. For anything in this policy, write to deb@cinroom.com.
What we collect
- When you browse this site: we do not set cookies, run analytics or use advertising trackers. Our hosting providers (below) automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- When you start a film with us: the "Start a film" button opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. If you do, we receive your WhatsApp number, name and whatever you share, such as your website address and brief. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- When we work together: we handle the materials you give us (brand assets, product information, scripts, feedback) and the films we make for you.
Why we use it
- To show you the website, and keep it fast and secure.
- To reply to you, quote a price and date, and deliver your film.
- To invoice you and keep records we are required to keep.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel hosts the website pages.
- Cloudflare (R2 storage) serves our videos and images.
- Google Fonts delivers the typeface, which means your browser requests the font files from Google, and Google receives your IP address when it does.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages you choose to send us.
- GitHub stores our website code. It holds no visitor data.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms, and some are based outside your country, including in the United States. Links from our site to other websites, such as IMDb, are governed by those sites' own policies.
How long we keep it
Messages and project materials are kept while we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can support your film and answer questions. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires. Ask us and we will delete the rest.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or India), you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it elsewhere. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email deb@cinroom.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can access project files and keep client material private to the project. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not send us passwords or payment card numbers in a message.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we add analytics, a contact form or anything else that collects data, we will update this page first and change the date above.
